Nature, with its profound beauty and mystery, has long been my muse. As a mixed media artist living and working in Northern Manhattan, I watch the Hudson River and woods from my windows and on my walks.

 

I work with found images, hand-painted fabric, and my own photographs and painted papers. When cutting, tearing, gluing, and stitching, a transformation takes place. Unrelated pieces come together, revealing the essence of my surroundings.

 

For me, each work is a conversation with the light, color, and texture of my world. In a world that often moves too quickly, I invite you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the quiet majesty that surrounds us.
