About

Studio 41, a new art collective in Long Island City, is located at 27-15 41st Avenue – just one block north of Queens Plaza.  Founded to exhibit the work of local artists, Studio 41 is in a unique setting; the working studio of printmaker Dianne Martin. Our artists work in a diverse range of mediums and might be working in the studio space during gallery hours, at the etching press, or conducting a workshop on their particular technique.

Studio 41's seasonal group exhibitions provide direct access to the local art scene and allow the community with the opportunity to discover and support these talented local artists.  Paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and other handmade artisanal items are affordably priced, appealing to new collectors.

In our “Back Wall Gallery” space we offer opportunities for visiting artists to present their work for a four week exhibition. As a young and growing organization we are committed to offering many ways to engage, educate and delight our neighbors. Our slogan is “What’s On Your Walls?”

We have a varied schedule of workshops and events each month. Drawing and printmaking workshops, holiday ornament making, pop-up events, all with the goal of bringing art making and viewing art together in our intimate space.

Studio 41 is free and open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5.

Consider supporting local artists by building an art collection of your own. Studio 41 collective members can work within your budget. Payment plans can be set up to help you acquire the artwork you love.

Owning a collection of original artwork not only enhances the aesthetic of one’s personal living space, it is also important to one’s psychological well-being as art stimulates emotions and special memories. Small pieces can be grouped together in large ensembles that work with your personal style and decor.

Studio 41 offers art advisory consultations to help you grow your personal collection. We also ship nationwide. Contact Nancy Gesimondo at studio41collective@gmail.com for more information.
